You may not be rich and famous (yet), but that doesn’t mean you can’t vacation like a superstar.

Around the world, there are certain locales that seem to have a magnetic pull for the rich and famous. From the dazzling waters of Ibiza and the seaside resorts of the South of France, to Indian Ocean getaways and even luxe settings on Long Island, here are some of the four most popular destinations for the rich and famous.

What do socialite Paris Hilton, “Rocky” superstar Sylvester Stallone, and world-famous footballer Cristiano Ronaldo have in common? They all vacation in Ibiza.

Ibiza (pronounced “ih-beeth-uh” to those in the know) has long been a vacation destination for the rich and famous. It’s not hard to see why. This gorgeous getaway, located just off the coast of Spain in the Mediterranean, boasts wonderful weather, gorgeous landscapes, and almost constant clear blue skies.

Not only is it an incredibly beautiful place, but it’s got an epic nightlife and party scene. Celebs can’t seem to resist the siren call of its white, sandy shores.

Saint-Tropez, France

If you’re looking for a place to ogle at some bona fide VIPs in an idyllic setting, look no further than Saint-Tropez.

Located in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region of southern France, this area was initially put on the map by movie stars like French screen siren Brigitte Bardot in the 1950s. Since then, it hasn’t shown signs of flagging in popularity with the glitterati.

Known for its shimmering beaches, clear water, and vibrant nightlife, you can expect to see plenty of fancy people and movie stars in this heavenly slice of the French Riviera.

So go ahead: plant yourself on a beach chair, enjoy a cocktail, and take in the view of private yachts bobbing in the gentle, shimmering Mediterranean waters and the many beautiful people out and about.

The Maldives

First, an important lesson: “Maldives” rhymes with “sleeves,” not “dives.” Now that you’ve got that down, let’s talk about all that this luxe region has to offer.

Located in the waters of the Indian Ocean, the rich and famous flock to the Maldives like it’s the red carpet at the Oscars. With its tropical climate, otherworldly blue lagoons, and impressive reefs, it’s a beauty to behold, and certainly far away from the pressures of places like Hollywood or New York City.

In spite of the fact that the Maldives is fairly isolated, there are plenty of upscale restaurants and bars to keep things sophisticated. It’s not unusual to see stars like the Beckhams vacationing here. It’s also where John Legend proposed to supermodel Chrissy Teigen.

Long Island isn’t the first place you’d think of when pondering ultimate celebrity getaways. But every summer, a specific part of Long Island called The Hamptons is transformed into the playground of the rich and famous. This area, composed of the towns of East Hampton and Southampton, is home to multi-million dollar homes and a lavish lifestyle.

Its accessibility to New York City means it’s a popular spot for the elite to own second homes. Calvin Klein, Howard Stern, and Kelly Ripa are just a few of its notable residents.

Whether you’re wearing a pristine getup for Diddy’s famed “white party” or running into an A-lister at Nick & Toni’s, there’s plenty of upscale lifestyle to be enjoyed at this seaside getaway.

It’s true: the rich and famous may have plenty of advantages that the rest of us don’t. But no matter who you are, it’s possible to get away like a celebrity when you hit up one of these incredible destinations.
