After a large remodeling job in 2008, The Plaza’s rooms are the epitome of luxury, with skyline views and gold doorknobs in all bathrooms. The hotel is incredibly strict about guest privacy and does not allow flash or even professional photography in the lobby.

Still, this hasn’t stopped The Plaza from being featured in a handful of movies. This New York icon has a starting rate of $774 for a March weekend for two.

Viva Las Vegas. At the SKYLOFTS guests can find two different types of butlers to help find inner peace in Sin City. The "Dream Butlers" will help you enjoy a good night's rest, while the "Spa Butlers," help create a calm atmosphere through the different services, with color therapy being a popular choice.

Even though the SKYLOFTS are a part of the popular MGM Grand Resort, they refer to themselves as a boutique hotel experience. Still, Vegas is right below, so all sorts of entertainment options are at your beck and call. Guests can also find Joël Robuchon’s namesake French restaurant just a few flights below. The restaurant boasts three Michelin stars, which perfectly goes along with the experience of staying at the SKYLOFTS. A guest can expect to spend a minimum of $1,999 a night.
